WHAT ARE OUR ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

If you are an overseas student you can register with us after having passed Level B1 according to CEFR from a recognized English language test. Whereas for the Home/ EU students no academic qualifications are required

WHAT WILL YOU STUDY

You will develop the four major language skills: Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading. The four disciplines will be implemented within the topics selected to meet your needs and interests in compliance with the Adult National Core Curriculum standards. Interactive learning, real life communication and use of technology in the classroom will be a crucial part of the lectures

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

The four disciplines will be assessed through three stages.

 Stage 1. Portfolio

A collection of your written work, where you will have the opportunity to choose the best three tasks of the work you have produced throughout the academic year. Even though it is an entirely original and individual work you will be able to draw from a number of resources and free to use facilities such as dictionaries, word processors and the internet.

Stage 2. Controlled Written Examination

A formal reading and writing examination paper taken under formal conditions.

Stage 3. Interview

This will be a face-to- face spoken interview with the examiner. A presentation and brief discussion of the portfolio followed by a conversation on a subject area taken from the Trinity Syllabus.
